Solar Water Heater Installation in Umm Suqeim

For new buildings, yes. Dubai Municipality Circular 183/2011 requires new buildings to meet at least 75% of hot-water needs with solar energy, installed by a licensed company using certified equipment. For existing villas in Umm Suqeim it’s optional — but with Dubai’s sunshine and rising DEWA tariffs, most owners find it pays for itself.

Water heating typically accounts for 20–30% of a villa’s electricity use. A well-sized solar system covers up to 80% of that load, which translates into a noticeable drop in your monthly DEWA bill — especially for larger Umm Suqeim families.

Every system we install in Umm Suqeim includes an electric backup heater with an automatic thermostat. When sunlight isn’t enough, the backup tops up the temperature — so you always have hot water, whatever the weather.

Most Umm Suqeim villa installations are completed in a single day once the system is delivered. Including the free site survey and scheduling, the whole process usually takes just a few days.

It depends on family size and usage. As a rough guide, a 200-litre system suits 3–4 people, while 300 litres covers 5–6. During our free site survey in Umm Suqeim we calculate your exact daily hot-water demand and size the system accordingly.
